Set on the North East coast of England, ‘Stand Up And Be Counted!’ is the story of a man who battles on against the many mishaps that befall him, somehow managing to eke out an existence as a stand-up comic.

His bizarre coterie of friends adds even more colour to his odd world.  There's his somewhat dodgy agent, Tony Tatting, Jr. and his misunderstood guru, a former Music Hall star, Old Ma Mills...

The scripts are ready, reworked over a number of drafts with the advice and assistance of script consultant Geoff Motley, and a basic pilot DVD (albeit on a shoestring budget) is ready to view upon request.
